To whitelist an email address in Gmail, you can add the email address to your “Contacts” or create a filter for the email address. Here are the steps for each method:
- Add the email address to your “Contacts”:
- Open the email from the sender you want to whitelist
- Click on the three dots at the top of the email
- Select “Add to contacts”
- Create a filter for the email address:
- Click on the three lines in the top left corner
- Click on “settings”
- Click on the “Filters and blocked addresses” tab
- Click on “create a new filter”
- In the “From” field, enter the email address you want to whitelist
- Click “create filter”
- Select “Never send it to spam” and click “create filter”
By adding the email address to your Contacts or creating a filter, Gmail will recognize the email address as a safe sender and it will no longer be marked as spam.
