Apple just launched “Invites” – its brand-new app for creating custom event invitations.
With Invites, you can:
Create & share event invites
RSVP (even if you’re not on Apple)
Contribute to Shared Albums
Curate event soundtracks
A couple of standout features:
Integrated Maps for easy directions
Weather updates for your event day
AI-generated invite designs with Image Playground
Writing assistance powered by Apple Intelligence
But there’s a catch:
You need an iCloud+ subscription to create invites. However, anyone can RSVP – even without an Apple device.
With this launch, Apple is stepping into the space dominated by Partiful, Evite, and Paperless Post. But will it truly replace them?
